The hamlet of Treknow is about one mile south of Tintagel. From the A39 Bude to Wadebridge road, follow signs to Tintagel. Pick up the B3263 and when you reach Tregatta (north of Tintagel) take the next turning signposted to Treknow. After some 400yards turn off the Treknow road onto an unmade track, running parallel with the sea, keeping Lowenna and the Atlantic View Hotel on your left. Kittiwake Cottage is on the right at the end of this lane within the grounds of Gull Rock overlooking the beach at Trebarwith Strand.
