Due to changing family circumstances it is probable that I will not be renting out the cottage after the end of April 2008.

With regard to booking this year, you still have the option to book in March as per the tariff. Rates for short breaks at this time would be £120 for 2 nights (minimum booking) and £30 per night afterwards. Should I be able to continue to let out the cottage further into the season I will update the website as appropriate.

Kittiwake cottage sleeps four and is limited to four. The letting period is from Friday to Friday, commencing at 3pm and ending at 10.30am. The Tariff indicates weekly rents but occasionally a short break can be considered. In that case a rate will be negotiated. There is no VAT payable on the cottage rental. A deposit of £80 per week is payable on booking with the balance falling due one month before the start of the holiday. If the reservation cannot be taken up in part or in full the whole rental is still payable. If sufficient notice is given and we can re-let, we shall return all monies received less a handling charge of £20.

We regret that no pets can be accommodated.

We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage which may be sustained to any visitor’s property whilst staying in the cottage but there is a public liability clause in the cottage insurance schedule.

We do all we can to ensure that the cottage is clean and comfortable for your arrival and it would be appreciated if you would leave the cottage clean and tidy on your departure. Please ensure that you do leave by 10.30am so that we have time to change linen, wash crockery and clean the cottage properly before the arrival of our next visitors.
